Big Plant Nursery are specialist growers and importers of hardy exotic plants including hardy exotic and architectural trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. We grow a wide range of bamboos, Japanese maples and stunning birch trees along wth a wide selection of Ginkgo varieities. We are located just 40 miles south of London in West Sussex and only 15 minutes from the coast. Started in early 2000, the nursery has gone from strength to strength, constantly increasing the range of plants year on year, as well as increasing the amount we grow ourselves. We do bring in a selection of specimen plants from abroad but we will always endeavour to buy the plants from the nursery that has grown them, rather than buying through a middleman. All of the imported plants at the nursery have been hand chosen by us, so you can be assured of the quality and provenance of the plants.
